Michelle Villano, also known as “Tuna”, grew up and finished her studies in the Philippines. She graduated with honors with her Bachelor’s Degree on Visual Communication at the University of the Philippines in 2017.

Soon after that, she worked in multiple animated shows as a 2D Layout Artist and Layout Checker for 4 years and has been awarded “Best Layout Artist” in Toon City Animation on 2018 and 2019. Due to the lack of work from the studio, Michelle decided to shift gears and worked as a freelancer in Studio Sekai on their project Isekai Meta as one of their NFT artists. Being able to apply the knowledge she gained in her previous work, she became a Senior Layout Artist and Marketing Artist for a year.

When creating, she focuses on designs with perspective and loves to add contrast in her works. She enjoys creating characters in dynamic poses while having to compose them well in the canvas.
